Agreed
HOW IN THE FUCK DOES THIS MAKE SENSE
“oh i love that we don’t slut shame but let me slut shame for a moment.”
You guys are fucking assholes.
You know what you call someone who tries to sleep with someone in a committed relationship?
An asshole, an inconsiderate dipshit, a selfish motherfucker, etc.
But don’t talk out one side of your mouth saying you hate slut shaming and then turn around and do it when it fucking suits you.
Morons.
This exactly ^. So fucking hypocritical to say that.
When I was younger, I thought like this too. I would openly speak out against the girls at my high school calling each other sluts because they snuck off to parks and made out or whatever. Maybe part of it was because I was usually on the receiving end of that. But then I’d say that I’d reserve the term ‘slut’ for someone who cheats or actively hits on someone in a relationship. It’s not right because it isn’t their sexuality that is a problem. Nobody’s sexuality is in itself a problem. Being dishonest is a problem. But sexual dishonesty matters no more or less than any other kind of dishonesty.
It’s not the role of any of us to ensure that others stay within the bounds of our relationships.
I don’t care who you fuck/who you don’t fuck, because it’s none of my business (unless it’s my partner and we haven’t discussed sex with people outside our relationship and even then it’s probably not you who I should be angry with unless my partner didn’t consent in which case I’d be calling you a rapist rather than a slut).
