Nikki J's Scrapheap: New World City my arse: Brisbane rent is ridonkulous →
I’ve been doing a lot of research about where I’m going to be for the next part of my life. One thing that I’ve noticed is how much more expensive it is to rent an apartment in Brisbane compared to Melbourne.
I understand Melbourne is much larger and has more…
At least Rockhampton is flat enough to cycle comfortably, even though the drivers are less used to seeing cyclists commute. And Rockhampton hasn’t knocked down as many of its historic buildings as Brisbane has.
I’d better stop before I start arguing for a move to 4700. Oh, yes, Rockhampton’s coffee is generally of poore qualitie. Cafe culture there is improving but it’s still years behind Brisbane (which is centuries behind Melbourne, or so I’m told).
